Laval's experience in designing <br />and building new belt filter presses and repairing/rebuilding earlier model belt filter presses can only enhance our <br />position in providing the services and pails specified. <br />Alfa Laval is the leading belt filter press manufacturer and has over'3,000 belt filter presses/thickeners installed <br />across the United States and abroad, Alfa Laval has designed belt presses, gravity belt thickeners and other process <br />equipment for nearly 26 years. Our record of performance is well known in the Water and Wastewater Industries. <br />Alfa Laval started our "Rebuild Program"' to provide customers with "'today's technology" on earlier model belt <br />filter presses and provide customers with an alternative to purchasing new replacement equipment, Alfa Laval has <br />on staff Register Professional Engineers, with expertise in the fields of engineering, design, electrical and process, <br />to meet any need on this prqject. <br />Alfa Laval offers the following as additional qualifications for supplying the level of standards of parts <br />and services as defined in the Bid specifications. <br />• Alfa Laval is the sole source supplier of all original equipment manufacture parts (O.E.M.) and is the <br />original equipment manufacturer of the Klampresses located at South Bend South WWTP. <br />• The manufacturer/brand name of manufactured components being offers is Alfa Laval. <br />• Your original press parts have faithfully performed for over 27 years which proves the high standard that is <br />required in your operation. <br />• Any new changes in design improvements have been completed by licensed professional engineers, <br />• Alfa Laval's factory has total manufacturing capabilities, which ensure consistency in the high quality of <br />products produced. <br />• Alfa Laval takes no exceptions to the bid specifications. <br />• Alfa Laval has provided a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of our bid amount and all other documents <br />reqwired by the bid specifications. <br />
