Bill No. 16-10 -Rezone Cleveland & Mayflower Bill No. 10-20 -Special Exception 6879 Enterprise Bill No. 10-21 -Special Exception 1019-1021 St. Peter Bill No. 15-10 Rezoning 521 Eclipse This bill rezones 6.19 acres of the western end of Kennedy Park to allow the construction of the City's proposed animal shelter. Called upon by Chairperson Kirsits, Derek Spier explained the rezoning request noting the Area Plan Commission forwarded the bill with a favorable recommendation. There was no remonstrance at the Area Plan Commission hearing. Mike Danch then gave the formal presentation. He used a site plan as a reference point. The plan is attached. Two citizens spoke in favor of the rezoning Valerie Schey and Tony Trinca both spoke of the desperate need for a new facility. No one spoke opposed. Councilmember Puzzello motioned to send favorably to Council. Derek Dieter seconded and all affirmed. Bill No. 16-10 Rezoning the NE corner of Mayflower and Cleveland The site is 43.33 acres going from agricultural use to mixed retail and senior residential.
