6/23/69 <br />318 N. Cushing. Mrs. 0. Parcher was unable to appear before the Board this <br />date as requested. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the <br />matter was continued for one week. - <br />414 Pennsylvania. Mr. Hartman, owner of these premises, appeared before the <br />Board and reported he has boarded up the property affer the recent vandalism. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued <br />for one week. <br />730 South Bend Avenge. Mr. Adamson reported this property has been satis- <br />factorily secured. <br />Bids opened: <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following: <br />202 E. Paris Street. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be <br />sufficient. Bids were: <br />Bryant Excavating Company $535.00 <br />John E. Vanek 510.00 <br />A & J Demolition Co. 375.00 <br />Julius O'Neal 496.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the premises at 202 E. Paris Street was awarded to A & J Demolition Company <br />as the low bidder, subject to an appeal being taken by the owner within the <br />next seven days. <br />2119 Bertrand. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be sufficient. <br />Bids were: <br />Bryant excavating Company $ 370.00 <br />Julius O'Neal 307.00 <br />A S. J Demolition Co. 333�50 <br />John E.. Vanek 465.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried,. contract for demolition <br />of the premises at 2119 Bertrand Street was awarded to Julius O'Neal on his <br />low bid of $307.00, subject to an appeal by the owner within the next seven <br />days. <br />1602 Longley. Non collusion affidavit accompanying the bid of A. Midwest <br />Demolition and Wrecking Company was unsigned and the bid therefore not considered. <br />Non collusion affidavits accompanying other bids were examined and found to be <br />proper. Bids were: <br />A.. Midwest Demolition Co. (non collusion affidavit unsigned) <br />Harvey R. Bryant $435.00 <br />A & J Demolition Co. 495.00 <br />Julius O'Neal 517..00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the <br />premises at 613 Longley Street was awarded to Bryant Excavating Company on their <br />low bid of $435.00, subject to an appeal being taken by,the owner within the <br />next seven days. <br />134 E. Ohio Street (accessory building). Upon motion made, seconded and - <br />unanimously carried, permission was granted to advertise for bids for demolition <br />of the accessory structure. <br />506 N. Cushing Street. Mrs. Rostiser did not appear as requested. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and unanimously carried, permission was granted to advertise for <br />bids for demolition of the structure. <br />Contract signed; <br />1223-12231 S. Rush Street. Contract awarded to A S J Demolition Company on <br />June 16, 1969, for the demolition of these premises on their low bid of $423.00 <br />was signed by the Board, the owner h aving taken no appeal and no other permttc- <br />having been issued for such demolition. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
