Bickel BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY" ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3293, 1969 - MENTAL HEALTH CENTER "RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBL IC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the following: The north -south alley between St. Louis Street and St. Peter Street, from Colfax Avenue north 198 feet to the first east -west alley. Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the municipal city of South Bend, Indiana, to construe and main- tain any facilities, including but not limited to electric, tele- phone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and glitches within the vacated right of way unless such rights are released by the individual utilities. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots 219, 220, 221, 225, 226 and 227 of Samuel L. Cottrell's First Addition to Lowell. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 13th day of June and on the 20th day of June, 1969, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News. This Board, at its office in the City Hall, on the 23rd day of June, 1969, at 10:00 A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. APPLICATIONS - POLICE DEPARTMENT The following applications for appointment to the Police Department were filed and referred to the Personnel Director for further processing: David Steven Kish Casimir Stanley Wentland, Jr. REMONSTRANCES FILED - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3276, 1969 - ROSEMARY LANE For the improvement of Rosemary Lane from 100 feet north of Peachtree Lane to Oakpark, by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs. The 10 day period following the date and time of the hearing on said improve- ment and remonstrances bearing the signatures of 50% of the resident property owners on said street having been filed, the matter, is, upon motion made, seconded and carried, referred to the City Attorney for recommendation.
