Bickel <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY" <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3293, 1969 - MENTAL HEALTH CENTER <br />"RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBL IC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />The north -south alley between St. Louis Street and St. <br />Peter Street, from Colfax Avenue north 198 feet to the <br />first east -west alley. <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and <br />the municipal city of South Bend, Indiana, to construe and main- <br />tain any facilities, including but not limited to electric, tele- <br />phone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and glitches <br />within the vacated right of way unless such rights are released by <br />the individual utilities. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially <br />affected by such vacation: <br />Lots 219, 220, 221, 225, 226 and 227 of Samuel L. Cottrell's <br />First Addition to Lowell. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 13th day <br />of June and on the 20th day of June, 1969, in the South Bend Tribune and <br />the Tri County News. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall, on the 23rd day of <br />June, 1969, at 10:00 A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all <br />persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 9th day of June, 1969. <br />s/ Lloyd S. Crumpacker <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS " <br />APPLICATION - FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />The application of Ronald Ray Hansen for appointment to the Fire Department <br />was filed with the Board and referred to the Personnel Director for further <br />processing. <br />APPLICATIONS - POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The following applications for appointment to the Police Department were <br />filed and referred to the Personnel Director for further processing: <br />David Steven Kish <br />Casimir Stanley Wentland, Jr. <br />REMONSTRANCES FILED - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3276, 1969 - ROSEMARY LANE <br />For the improvement of Rosemary Lane from 100 feet north of Peachtree Lane <br />to Oakpark, by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs. <br />The 10 day period following the date and time of the hearing on said improve- <br />ment and remonstrances bearing the signatures of 50% of the resident property <br />owners on said street having been filed, the matter, is, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, referred to the City Attorney for recommendation. <br />
