9/2 /70 <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RES. # 3326 (cont) - DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />(14) The first north -south alley east of Kaley Street be- <br />tween the north line of the east -west alley between <br />Washington Street and Holland Street and the south <br />line of Holland Street. <br />(15) The second north -south alley east of Kaley Street <br />between the north line of the east -west alley be- <br />tween Washington Street and Holland Street and the <br />south line of Holland Street. <br />(16) The first north -south alley east of Kaley Street be- <br />tween the north line of Holland Street and the south <br />line of the east -west alley between Holland Street <br />and Colfax Avenue. <br />(17) The first north -south alley east of Kaley Street be- <br />tween the north line of the east -west alley between <br />Holland Street and Colfax Avenue and the south line <br />of Colfax Avenue. <br />(18) The east -west alley between Lots 624 and 625 between <br />the east line of Meade Street and the west line of <br />the first north -south alley east of Meade Street. <br />(19) The east -west alley between Lots 597 and 598 between <br />the east line of Meade Street and the west line of <br />the first north -south alley east of Meade Street. <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the Munic- <br />ipal City of South Bend, Indiana to construct and maintain all facilities, <br />including, but not limited to, the following: electric, telephone, gas, <br />water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches, within the <br />vacated right of way, unless such rights are released to the individual <br />utilities. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected <br />by such vacation: <br />The area bounded on the west by Kaley Street, on the east <br />by Olive Street, on the south by Western Avenue, and on <br />the north by the Penn Central and the Chicago South Shore <br />Rail and South Bend Railroad right of way. <br />Total net damages - - - - - - - - - - $00.00 <br />Total net benefits - - - - - - - - - $00.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopts said assessment <br />roll and sets 9:30 A.M. on October 26, 1970 as the time for hearing all <br />persons interested in or affected by said vacation. <br />And the clerk was directed to give notice of such hearing by publica- <br />tion in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News on October 2, <br />9 and 16, 1970. <br />REQUEST OF RI_CHARD G. HUMMER TO DISPLAY A MODEL HOME, CORNER MICHIGAN <br />AT CHIPPEWA. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request <br />of Richard G. Hummer ( Heckaman Industries of Nappannee, Indiana ) to <br />display a model factory -built home on the corner of Michigan Street <br />at Chippewa for a period not to exceed 90 days beginning on October 8, <br />1970. <br />REQUEST OF PLACE & COMPANY TO MOVE A HOUSE FROM 4800 S. YORK RD. TO <br />50960 U. S. # 31, NORTH. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request <br />of Place & Company, Inc. to move a house through the City from 4800 S. <br />York Road to 50960 U.
