3 51 i 6/26/72 LETTER FROM IBM CORPORATION - MOBILE TRAILER A letter was received from the iBM Corporation advising the Board that they are moving the mobile demonstration trailer from their parking lot into storage. The letter was ordered filed. LETTER FROM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION A letter was received from the Public Service Commission of the State of Indiana advising that hearing on Cause No. 32805 has been continued to June 27, 1972. This was ordered filed. COMPLAINT - MRS. LEE SWAN Mrs. Lee Swan, 2022 Swygart Street, appeared before the Board and read a prepared statement about the actions of the "Flying Squad," which she said was outrageous behavior, and presented some steps she feels should be taken to proptect retidents,of areas where these boys are working. The Board ordered her statement filed. GATES CHEVROLET COMPANY - USE OF TENT e--I Lf� Mr. Homer Moon, representing Gates Chevrolet Corporation, appeared before the Board to request permission to erect a tent on property adjacent to the Gates Chevrolet Corporation for the purpose of holding an exhibit. The tent to be 52 feet in diameter. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was referred to the Building Commissioner for an immedate investigation and report. TOPICS - CHANGE ORDER Upon motion made, seconded and carried Change Order for #20 Sodding under Contract No. TX-8775, Projects 6000 (2)-6000(5) was approved by the Board. SOLLITT CONTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. INVOICE - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT Upon motion made, seconded and carried, an invoice in the amount of $419,636.89 was approved for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Addition submitted by Sollitt Construction Company. PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT- NOTRE DAME SEWAGE METER Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a Project Completion Affidavit for the Notre Dame Sewage Meter submitted by DeWulf Mechanical Contractor, Inc. PERMISSION TO CLOSE WINSTON DRIVE Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the closing of Winston Drive for the purpose of holding a block party on July 2, 1972 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. This was recommended by the Bureau of Traffic LETTER FROM MICHIANA WATERSHED, INC. A letter was received from Michiana Watershed, Inc., signed by Judith Olson, Secretary stating that they had passed a motion at their June 6, 1972 meeting to explore and encourage the development of the Bast bank of the St. Joseph River between Jefferson and LaSalle Streets for the beautification and a portage area and had formed a task force for that purpose. This was ordered filed. EMMANUEL CHURCH OF DELIVERANCE - MARCH Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a request by the Emanuel Church of Deliverance to hold a march on July 1, 1972.
