295 <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 11, 1983 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Kernan and carried, the following ten (10) traffic control <br />devices were approved: <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Ryer at Keller (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Washington at 35th (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting. <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Illinois.at Keller (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting. <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Iowa at Keller (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting. <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Kenmore at Keller (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting. <br />INSTALL TRUCKS OVER 26,000 G.V.W. PROHIBITED - 3200 - <br />3600 ELWOOD (to prohibit large trucks shortcutting to <br />Lincolnway West from Bendix). Requested by: Bureau <br />of Traffic and Lighting <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Wellington at Keller. (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic & <br />Lighting. <br />INSTALL NO PARKING - Both sides and 50' Before and After <br />the Pennsylvania "S" Curve (between Miami and High). <br />(to allow unhampered traffic maneuvering through the <br />curve) Requested by: Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. <br />INSTALL NO PARKING - 417 N. St. Louis. Request from <br />Contractor at St. Joseph's Hospital. Needs more radius <br />for heavy equipment to exit and enter emergency drive. <br />INSTALL NO PARKING - 100 West Dayton - (right-of-way - <br />20 ft. street, approximately 18'. To eliminate <br />congestion and blocking street by parked cars). <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report submitted to the Board indicated a total of <br />nineteen (19) outages for the period June 17, 1983 to July <br />1, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded <br />by Mr. Kernan and carried, the report was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 13200 through Claim Docket No. 13850 and <br />recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the reports were filed <br />and <br />the claims approved. <br />
