Contract. Reports shall be submitted within 14 days following the 1st <br />day of the months April, July, October, and January for all material <br />reflecting activity for that three month period. <br />e. The CITY shall attach a green tag on all damaged or defective traffic <br />signal equipment returned to INDOT. This green tag shall be completely <br />filled out including the location where the equipment was in operation <br />and a description of the equipment's problem. INDOT will provide green <br />tags to the CITY. <br />8. SCHEDULED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE <br />a. "Routine Maintenance" shall be performed by the CITY (or its <br />Contractor) upon all existing traffic signals as listed in Exhibit "A" <br />and any others which may be installed or taken over by INDOT during the <br />effective period of this Contract. <br />b. "Routine Maintenance" shall include the repair or change -out of the <br />following traffic signal equipment, due to any reported Operation <br />Malfunction during the hours of a normal work day, from the daily start <br />time up to, and including one (1) hour before the end of a normal work <br />day: <br />1. Traffic Signal Controller <br />2. Detector Amplifiers and Receivers <br />3. Replacement of burned -out signal bulbs <br />4. Load relays or switches <br />5. Conflict Monitors or malfunction management unit, Preempts, <br />Coordinators, etc. <br />6. Power Outages <br />7. All equipment comprising interconnect systems <br />6. optically Programmable Signal indications <br />c. "Routine Maintenance" of all types of installations shall also include: <br />1. Respond to all calls of reported malfunctioning traffic signals <br />within two (2) hours. <br />2. Remove all malfunctioning parts and replace same with new or <br />reconditioned parts to restore proper functioning, except for <br />emergency vehicle preemption equipment. Emergency vehicle preemption <br />equipment, causing the traffic signal to malfunction, shall be <br />disconnected from the controller only. <br />d. The CITY shall have available a portable two (2) through eight (8) <br />phase NEMA Digital Controller Tester with harness for the field testing <br />of all digital traffic signal controllers manufactured in compliance <br />Page 8 of 53 Pages <br />
