Testing Table in Exhibit "J". If loop systems are found defective and <br />will not operate, the associated phase may need to be placed on recall <br />and timings adjusted as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall <br />inform INDOT of non-functional loops verbally and submit the Loop <br />Testing Table reports with the monthly updates. <br />b. Annual Signal Bulb Change -out, Lens Cleaning and Aerial Inspection. <br />1. This includes cleaning all lenses, replacement of all signal and <br />cabinet bulbs, cabinet filter, and inspection of aerial <br />installations. This work shall consist of replacing traffic signal <br />lamps, aerial inspection, and making minor repairs to traffic <br />signals and flashers at the locations shown in the Exhibit "A". <br />Minor work shall include aligning signal heads and signs. The CITY <br />shall replace all signal bulbs with new signal bulbs and also clean <br />the lenses and reflectors in conjunction with the annual signal bulb <br />change -out. A Signal Bulb Replacement and Aerial Inspection sheet <br />needs to be filled out for each location where work was completed <br />(refer to Exhibit "0"). <br />2. Signalized intersections included in other Contracts and agreements <br />will not be included in the lamp replacement and inspections portion <br />of this work. A listing of the locations which will require lamp <br />replacement and aerial inspection is shown in Exhibit "A". This work <br />shall be performed between April and September of each year that <br />this Contract is effective. <br />3. The CITY shall provide all lamps necessary to complete this work. <br />All 150 Watt bulbs shall be P25 or A23 size and shape. Lenses for <br />each type of signal indication shall be washed on both the inside <br />and outside with an approved cleaning solution. The reflector shall <br />be washed with the same solution. Both lens and reflector shall be <br />wiped dry with no smears or residue remaining on the surfaces. <br />Lamps shall be installed such that the filament of the lamp appears <br />to be in the shape of a U. This adjustment shall be made by means <br />of rotating the socket. Lenses which are semi -opaque, cracked, or <br />include holes shall be replaced. Visors or louvers which are <br />missing or damaged shall be replaced. The District Traffic Engineer <br />shall be contacted for availability of replacement visors. No <br />additional payment will be made for repairs of this nature. <br />4. If INDOT has installed light emitting diode (LED) indications in <br />place of the bulb/reflector/refractor assembly, the CITY shall clean <br />Page 10 of 53 Pages <br />
