KVI klu REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 22, 1988 ADDENDUM I NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION CITYWIDE COMMERCIAL REVOLVING LOAN FUND Addendum I extends Contract to June 30, 1988 and decreases the Contract amount by $50,309.00 (amount unobligated by December 31, 1987). Also, Addendum I clarifies language on program income received. The Addendum also clarifies special conditions, provisions, program income and historic preservation. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above referred to Contract and Addenda were approved and executed. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 5-1988 - DISPOSAL OF EQUIPMENT (POLICE DEPARTMENT) Mr. Leszczynski informed the Board that Police Chief Charles T. Hurley has advised that the Police Department has recently purchased a new, state of the art fingerprint comparator for use in the police laboratory. Therefore, he is requesting that the Board declare obsolete the old model FXBA fingerprint comparator, which was purchased in December of 1981 that is of no further use to the Department. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the following Resolution No. 5-1988 declaring the above referred to equipment obsolete was adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 5-1988 WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works that the following Police Department equipment is no longer needed by the City of South Bend: Fingerprint Comparator Sirchie FXBA WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-6 permits and establishes procedure for disposal of personal property which is no longer needed by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend that the equipment listed above is no longer needed by the City and has an estimated value of less than $500.00. 77 Lj 1
