233 REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 7, 1989 in violation of Section 20-7 of the South Bend Municipal Code. Such a violation shall carry a fine as provided for by Section 20-18 of the South Bend Municipal Code. 6. That the regulations herein set forth shall become effective upon the adoption of this Resolution, and when a sign or poster of reasonable size is prepared and placed at, near or upon the City -owned parking lot at 117 South Lafayette, stating the limitations set forth herein, all as provided for by Section 20-7 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend. Laurel Street,South Bend, Indiana requesting permission to close LaPorte Street, from Washington to Colfax from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 1989, for the 10th Annual Historic District yard sale. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request was referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. REQUEST TO CLOSE 600 BLOCK OF NORTH STUDEBAKER FOR BLOCK PARTY - SEPTEMBER 4, 1989 - REFERRED In a letter to the Board, Mr. Thomas Lue, 643 LaPorte Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to close the 600 block of Studebaker Street, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on September 9, 1989 for a block party. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. REQUEST OF SPIRITUAL ISRAEL CHURCH & ITS ARMY TO CLOSE WASHINGTON STREET, FROM FALCON TO KENMORE, FOR BLOCK PARTY IN CONJUNCTION WITH FUN FESTIVAL - AUGUST 19, 1989 - REFERRED An Application For Use Of And Blocking Of Access To Public Right -Of -Way For A Party Or Similar Event was submitted to the Board by Mrs. Lillie Rogers, Chairperson, Spiritual Israel Church & Its Army, 3517 W. Washington Street, South Bend, Indiana, requesting permission to close Washington Street from Falcon to Kenmore, on August 19, 1989 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in conjunction with the church fun festival. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request was referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation.
