STRUCTURAL AND <br />ORNAMENTAL IRON WORKERS TO CONDUCT INTERSECTION SOLICITATIONS - <br />JUNE 16, 1990 - REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Ronald E. Fisher, Co -Chairman, and <br />Mr. Mark Donoho, President, St. Joseph Valley Building Trades, <br />505 South Logan Street, South Bend, Indiana, advised that for the <br />last four (4) years the St. Joseph Valley Building Trades has <br />conducted a charitable collection on Father's Day for "Dollars <br />against Diabetes." This is a nationwide collection and all <br />building trades throughout the United States work together to <br />raise funds for "Dollars against Diabetes." Mr. Fisher and Mr. <br />Donoho noted that they have received permission from most of the <br />major chain stores in St. Joseph County to solicit funds on their <br />property. <br />At this time, it is requested that permission be granted to <br />collect street donations at the following locations: <br />1. Ironwood & Route 23 <br />2. Ironwood & Route 33 <br />3. Business 31 and Sample <br />4. Route 33 and Logan Street <br />5. Western and Chapin Street <br />6. Miami & Ireland Road <br />7. Sample and Chapin Street <br />8. Route 20 and Logan Street <br />9. Route 20 and Route 31 <br />10. Angela and Route 33 <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request be referred to the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and <br />recommendation. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />
