C. Investieation Phase <br />1. Perform a hydrologic assessment for identifying runoff sources and routing using <br />HEC-HMS or other storm runoff modeling software. <br />2. Investigate the hydraulic adequacy of Chippewa Avenue structure and calculate <br />headwater elevation and tailwater velocity associated with hydrologic design events <br />with HY-8 software. <br />3. Review channel routing and stream bank stability in the immediate vicinity of the <br />structures' headwater to identify debris and erosion sources that negatively affected <br />the culvert. <br />4. Prepare a two -three page letter report of findings with an aerial exhibit and identify <br />remedial options that may be executed at a future date. <br />PART II. SCHEDULE, FEE AND CONDITIONS <br />A. <br />0 <br />Schedule <br />Time is of the essence due to the nature of the work and shall be completed measured in <br />calendar days as described below: <br />1. Construction Documents as described in Part LA will be complete within 15 days of <br />Notice to Proceed or sooner. <br />2. Quotes will be solicited by the Owner once construction documents are complete. <br />Construction is anticipated to begin directly with an expected construction duration <br />of 3 0 days. <br />Fee <br />1. LFA proposes to provide the described Scope of Services on an hourly basis with an <br />estimated budget of $16,300. A man-hour justification has been prepared for review <br />of anticipated effort supporting this estimate. Allocated hours are not tied to specific <br />tasks for fees. <br />A. Construction Documents $ 6,800.00 <br />B. Construction Administration $ 5,000.00 <br />C. Investigation Phase $5,000.00 <br />Total $16,800.00 <br />2.
