REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 30, 1991 INSITUFORM.MIDWEST, INC. lllth & Archer, Box 458 Lemont, Illinois 60439 Bid was signed by Ms. Diane G. Non -Collusion Affidavit was in Commitment form was completed Bond was submitted. Bowers, Corporate Secretary, order, Non -Discrimination and a five per cent (5%) Bid BID: 1. Relining of Ford Street Sewer: $58,086.00 2. Relining of Lombardy Drive Sewer: $41,454.00 Total Amount of Bid: $99,540.00 If Insituform is used on the Lombardy Street sewer instead of NuPipe the project cost would be $1,575.00 less due to mobilization costs. The breakdown for both sections Insituformed is: 1. Relining Ford Street Sewer 630 LF @ $89.70/LF = $56,511.00 2. Relining Lombardy Street Sewer 630 LF @ $65.80/LF = $41,454.00 $97,965.00 Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the above bid was referred to Mr. Carl Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, and Mr. Jack Dillon, Director, Division of Environmental Services, for immediate review in order that a bid award could be recommended at today's meeting. Following that review, Mr. Jack Dillon recommended that the Board award the bid of Insituform Midwest, Inc., in the amount of $97,965.00. Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS AND AWARD OF QUOTATION - COVELESKI REGIONAL STADIUM - ADDITIONS TO AUTOMATIC LAWN SPRINKLING SYSTEM It is noted that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read: H.S. ALTMAN COMPANY 2506 South Main Street South Bend, Indiana Quotation was signed by Mr. Thomas J. Flatt. QUOTATION: $21,764.00 WISSCO IRRIGATION, INC. 1820 South Bend Avenue South Bend, Indiana 46637 Quotation was signed by Mr. Thomas J. Biship, Sales Manager. QUOTATION: $27,700.00 Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the above Quotations be referred to Mr. Carl Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering and Mr. Karl Stevens, Superintendent, Department of Public Parks for immediate review and recommendation. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. Following that review, Mr. Stevens recommended that the Board award the low Quotation submitted by H.S. Altman Company in the amount of $21,764.00. Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the Quotation be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried.
