REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 11, 1991 <br />M <br />1 <br />1 <br />C <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - FEBRUARY 1991 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that The Humane Society of St. Joseph <br />County, IN., Inc. has submitted a report for the month of <br />February indicating the types and number of animals handled for <br />the City of South Bend. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />report be accepted for filing as submitted. Mrs. DeClercq <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECONDHAND DEALER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) secondhand <br />dealers license application has been received: <br />NAME: <br />BY: <br />ADDRESS: <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: <br />INDIANA FURNITURE <br />Mr. Fred Romine <br />742 West Indiana Avenue <br />Used merchandise <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations <br />have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire <br />Department on the above application. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the above <br />license application was approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of a license. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Kankakee Valley <br />Construction Company, Inc., P.O. Box 1471, LaPorte, Indiana, was <br />accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that <br />forty-three (43) properties were cleaned from February 25, 1991 <br />and March 1, 1991, and that seven (7) City Owned/Miscellaneous <br />properties were cleaned from February 25, 1991 to March 1, 1991. <br />Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the lists as submitted be <br />filed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 2614 through Claim Docket No. 2851 and recommended <br />approval.
