REGULAR MEETING JUNE 1, 1992 <br />APPROVE MASTER LEASE PURCHASE PROPOSAL - NORWEST BANK <br />Board Attorney Mary H. Mueller informed members of the Board that <br />a Master Lease Proposal with Norwest Investment Services, Inc., <br />Suite 1200, 100 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has <br />been submitted for approval and execution. <br />Mrs. Mueller noted that this Proposal will allow the City to do <br />various Lease Purchase transactions with Norwest. Mrs. Mueller <br />further noted that all the Board is doing at this time is <br />executing a Master Agreement with Norwest and that no specific <br />items are being lease purchased at this time. Therefore, Mrs. <br />Mueller made a motion that the Master Lease Proposal and,related <br />documents as submitted by Norwest be approved and executed. Mr. <br />Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT - LAND SURVEYING SERVICES - TRANSMISSION LINE <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, <br />Division of Engineering, submitted to the Board an Agreement with <br />Cole Associates, Inc., 2211 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, <br />Indiana, to provide land surveying services to describe easements <br />and right-of-way for the 138KV transmission line relocation in <br />conjunction with the Airport 2010 Project. Mr. Littrell noted <br />that the Agreement with Indiana Michigan Power indicates that the <br />City shall provide the easements. It is noted that the Agreement <br />with Cole Associates for these surveying services is $8,500.00. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Agreement be approved. <br />Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONSULTANT AGREEMENT - CORBY STREET LIFT STATION <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a <br />Consultant Agreement with Cole Associates, Inc., 2211 East <br />Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, to provide a study and <br />report addressing numerous problems associated with the Corby <br />Street lift station, the twenty-one inch (2111) combined sewer <br />downstream of the lift station and the storm retention pond <br />located near the corner of Logan and Sorin Streets. Mr. <br />Leszczynski noted that Cole shall be compensated $14,900.00 for <br />this work. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the Agreement as submitted was approved <br />and executed. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - CORBY STREET SEWER PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski noted that the Engineering Department has <br />submitted two (2) Change Orders for the above referred to <br />project. The first Change Order indicates an increase of <br />$12,675.00 for replacement of pipes and sleeves. The second <br />Change Order indicates an increase of $14,183.59 for energy <br />dissipator dewatering. <br />It is noted that this is a Federal Aid Project that is a <br />seventy-five per cent (75%)/twenty-five per cent (25%) split <br />between the state and the City. The energy dissipater was force <br />account work approved by the State and the latter is an extra <br />work agreement also verbally approved by the State. The total <br />change in the Contract is a negative .03%. <br />Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Change Orders be approved. <br />Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that L.L. Geans and Sons, 56535 Magnetic <br />Drive, Mishawaka, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. 1, for <br />the above referred to project, indicating that the Contract <br />amount be increased by $3,351.34 for a new Contract sum including <br />
