u <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />parties in the neighborhood. <br />MARCH 15, 1993 <br />Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that this request to close <br />the street for a St. Patrick's Day Neighborhood Party, be denied. <br />Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />RECOMMENDATION ON REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1316 <br />LISTON STREET - TABLED. <br />It is noted that on February 1, 1993, Ruth DeFreese, 30632 North <br />Shore Drive, Elkhart, Indiana, advised the Board that she is <br />interested in purchasing the City -owned lot at 1316 Liston Street. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this request was referred to the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus and at this time, the <br />Department of Economic Development recommends that the City retain <br />this property. Mr. Jon Hunt, Executive Director, Department of <br />Economic Development indicated that his department is developing a <br />plan for this area which may include acquisition in this block. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Board table making a <br />recommendation on this request at this time. Mrs. Mueller <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />REMOVAL OF: <br />HANDICAP PARKING SPACE <br />LOCATION: <br />626 North Lafayette Blvd. <br />REMARKS: <br />Signs not needed. <br />REMOVAL OF: <br />HANDICAP PARKING SPACE <br />LOCATION: <br />1635 Kendall <br />REMARKS: <br />Signs not needed <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - QUALITY DRIVE PROJECT <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the Title Sheet for the above project was approved <br />and signed. <br />APPROVE PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY LICENSE APPLICATIONS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of the <br />following Public Parking Facility License applications: <br />1.
