REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 19, 1994 Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Petition to Vacate the two alleys was referred to the appropriate Bureaus for recommendation. REQUESTS: - TO CONDUCT "ANNUAL RIGHT TO LIFE MARCH " - ST. JOSEPH COUNTY KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS - JANUARY 22, 1995 - TO CONDUCT MARCH OF DIMES BIRTH DEFECT 25TH ANNIVERSARY WALKAMERICA - APRIL 29, 1995 - TO CONDUCT AMERICAN -DIABETES ASSOCIATION FOURTH ANNUAL WALKTOBERFEST OCTOBER 1, 1995 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Manier and carried, the above referred to requests were referred to the appropriate Bureaus for recommendation. APPROVE REVISION TO THE 1995 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Mayor's Office has submitted a revision to the 1995 Holiday Schedule, which corrects the date of Martin Luther King Day from Monday, January 14, 1995, to Monday, January 16, 1995. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell, the revision was approved. APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTOR BONDS Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following Contractor Bonds be approved and/or released as follows: BOND OF CONTRACTOR Robert A. Marganti Released Effective December 12, 1994 Richard Engle d/b/a Three D Construction Released Effective December 12, 1994 Unique Concrete Approved Effective December 19, 1994 Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved and/or released as outlined above. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following traffic control device was approved: NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Parking Sign LOCATION: 506 Blaine REMARKS: Mrs. Dungey has met all requirements FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the following Certificates of Insurance were accepted for filing: Memorial Health System, Inc. Warner & Sons, Inc. Petroleum Equipment, Inc. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Department of Code Enforcement has submitted two (2) lists containing thirty-three (33) City owned and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the Department from December 5, 1994 to December 8, 1994. Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried.
