MW 1 1 REGULAR MEETING bids be awarded: EQUIPMENT: VENDOR: AMOUNT: JULY 5, 1994 486SX/25 COMPUTER WORK STATION ARM COMPUTING 305 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana $895.00 EQUIPMENT: 586DX/60 FILE SERVER VENDOR: MICRO SOURCE TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. 2301 North Bendix Drive, Suite 600 South Bend, Indiana AMOUNT: $5,400.00 Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the above outlined bids be awarded. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BID - NIMTZ PARKWAY LANDSCAPING PROJECT (AIRPORT 2010 DEVELOPMENT AREA) Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, reminded members of the Board that on June 27, 1994, three (3) bids were opened for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell stated that he has reviewed those bids and found the amounts correct as read at the meeting except for the arithmetic error in the extension of Item 6 of Reinhart's Landscaping bid. Therefore, Mr. Littrell recommended that the Board award the base bid plus alternate bid of Willson's Nursery and Landscape Company, P.O. Box 266, LaPorte, Indiana, in the amount of $475,316.50. Mr. Littrell noted that the Department of Community and Economic Development concurs with this recommendation. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the bid be awarded as recommended. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. AWARD QUOTATION - I/N KOTE SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE 157 MODIFICATIONS In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, advised that on June 27, 1994, the Board opened three (3) lump sum Quotations for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell noted that he has reviewed the Quotations and found that the amounts are correct as read at the meeting. Therefore, Mr. Littrell recommended that the Board award the Quotation of H. Dewulf, Inc., 58600 Executive Drive, P.O. Box 5127, Mishawaka, Indiana, in the amount of $1,948.00. Mr. Littrell noted that the Division of Environmental Services concurs with this recommendation. Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the Quotation be awarded. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised that he has reviewed the Quotations and found that the amounts are correct as read at the meeting. Therefore, Mr. Littrell recommended that the Board award the low Quotation submitted by Warner and Sons, Inc., P.O. Box 87, Elkhart, Indiana, in the amount of $5,930.00. Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the Quotation be awarded. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried.
