REGULAR MEETING <br />requested that <br />designated as <br />that both she <br />FEBRUARY 21, 1994 <br />the parking space in front of her residence be <br />a handicapped parking space. Mrs. Kluge noted <br />and her husband are not in the best of health. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the following two (2) <br />traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. TEMPORARY REMOVAL OF: <br />TRAFFIC AND LIGHT SERVICE <br />AT PORTAGE AND CLEVELAND <br />REMARKS: <br />Temporary removal of <br />traffic light service at <br />Portage and Cleveland <br />while Portage Street <br />bridge is under <br />construction. <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION: <br />TEMPORARY ALL WAY STOPS AT <br />LATHROP AND PORTAGE AND <br />PORTAGE AND BOLAND <br />REMARKS: <br />Temporary stops to be <br />installed while Portage <br />Street Bridge is under <br />construction. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - JANUARY <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the <br />Board is in receipt of the <br />monthly report as submitted by the <br />Humane Society of St. Joseph <br />County, Inc., for the month of January. The report indicates the <br />type and number of animals handled <br />for the City of South Bend. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that <br />the report be accepted for <br />filing as submitted. Mr. Caldwell <br />seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />0 <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Department of Code Enforcement <br />has submitted two (2) lists containing twenty-eight (28) City <br />owned and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the <br />Department from February 7, 1994, to February 10, 1994. Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for <br />filing.
