<br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 3. 1995
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - ONE (1) AERIAL LIFT
<br />BOOM TRUCK
<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services,
<br />requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for one (1) aerial lift boom truck, for use by
<br />the City of South Bend Traffic and Lighting Department. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier,
<br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the request was approved.
<br />REQUESTS REFERRED
<br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the following
<br />requests were referred to the appropriate Departments and Bureaus for recommendation:
<br />- TO CONDUCT A BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. and Mrs. Roger Holbrook, 1812 East Irvington Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, requested
<br />permission to conduct a hog roast on Saturday, August 5, 1995, from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.,
<br />on East Irvington Street, between Sampson Street and Southeast Street.
<br />- TO CLOSE A PORTION OF ASSUMPTION DRIVE
<br />In a letter to the Board, Fr. Paul McCarthy, Pastor, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 3501 South
<br />Locust Road, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to close a portion of Assumption Drive on
<br />Friday, August 11,1995, Saturday, August 12,1995, and Sunday, August 13, 1995, for their Annual
<br />Parish Festival.
<br />- TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Anthony Adamo, 412 South Kenmore, South Bend, Indiana, requested
<br />permission to purchase two (2) vacant lots directly south of his property.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following four
<br />(4) traffic control devices were approved:
<br />REMOVAL OF: One Hour Parking - Handicap
<br />REVISED TO: No Parking - Bus Parking
<br />LOCATION: 100 E. Washington (Michigan to St. Joseph)
<br />REMARKS: Extend handicap zone on N. Michigan 100 block one space

<br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - NEAR NORTHWEST PARTNERSHIP CENTER SERVICE AREA -

<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented
<br />at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and
<br />carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed.
<br />FILING OF MONTHLY NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
<br />REPORT - JUNE 1995
<br />Mr. Sam Mercantini, Executive Director, Neighborhood Business Development Corporation,
<br />submitted the monthly report for June 1995, and recommended the report be filed. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the report was filed.
