<br />WHEREAS, the City, through the Board, is desirous of transferring the Real Property to
<br />SBHF for a nominal sum so that the Real Property may be used for that purpose; and
<br />WHEREAS, SBHF desires to acquire the Real Property free and clear of all structures which
<br />are currently located upon Parcels I, II, IV, V, VI, and VIII of the Real Property; and
<br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has agreed with the City to accept
<br />financial responsibility for the removal of such structures from the Real Property.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR
<br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and generally
<br />described as follows, by the City of South Bend, Indiana to the South Bend Heritage Foundation,
<br />Inc..
<br />Parcel I:
<br />Lot Numbered One Hundred (100) as shown on the recorded Plat of Wengers
<br />Fifth Addition to the City of South Bend, recorded June 17, 1892 in the
<br />Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 6, page
<br />21. Commonly known as 1214 South Fellows Street, South Bend. Key No.
<br />18-7022-0851.
<br />Parcel II:
<br />Lot Numbered One Hundred One (101) as shown on the recorded Plat of
<br />Martin L. Wenger's Fifth Addition, recorded June 17, 1892 in the Office of
<br />the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 6, page 21.
<br />Commonly known as 508 E. Pennsylvania, South Bend. Key No. 18-7023-
<br />0895.
<br />Parcel III:
<br />Lot Numbered One Hundred Five (105) as shown on the recorded Plat of
<br />Martin L. Wenger's Fifth Addition to the City of South Bend, St. Joseph
<br />County, Indiana, recorded June 17, 1892 in the Office of the Recorder of St.
<br />Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 6, page 21. Key No. 18-7023-0889.

<br />A part of Lot Numbered One Hundred Four (104) as shown on the recorded
<br />Plat of Martin L. Wenger's Fifth Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />which part is bounded by a line as follows, viz: Beginning at the Northeast
<br />corner of said Lot thence running South on the East line thereof a distance of
<br />66 feet; thence West parallel with the North line of said Lot, 47 feet; thence
<br />North on a line parallel with the West line of said Lot, 66 feet to the South
<br />line of Wenger Street in said City; thence East on said South line 47 feet to
