Orders will be made on an "as <br />needed" basis. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be <br />awarded as outlined above. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - ONE 1 HEAVY DUTY 15,000 GVW CAB & CHASSIS AND ONE 1 HEAVY <br />DUTY TWO TON CAB & CHASSIS <br />Mr. Matt Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services, advised the Board that on May 13, <br />1996, bids were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those <br />bids, Mr. Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the bid to Whiteford Ford, 4707 Western <br />Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />One (1) Heavy Duty 15,000 GVW Cab & Chassis $27,948.00 <br />Less Trade-In-3,200.00 <br />Less Modification - 870.00 <br />NET TOTAL $23,878.00 <br />One (1) Heavy Duty Two Ton Cab & Chassis $28,335.00 <br />Less Trade In-2,200.00 <br />NET TOTAL $26,135.00 <br />Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded <br />as outlined above. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD QUOTATION - LILAC ROAD SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION - PROJECT NO <br />95-77 <br />Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on May 13, 1996, <br />quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, <br />Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to LaFree Excavating, Inc., 1251 West <br />3rd Street, Osceola, Indiana in the amount of $74,800.00. Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion <br />
