<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Elaine Fountain, 2319 Erskine, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party, on Sunday, August 10, 1997, from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., on Altgeld from Erskine to the
<br />alley. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Dakendra Andersen, 708 Cleveland, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />block party, on Tuesday, August 21; 1997, from 12:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., on Cleveland from
<br />Lincoln to the alley. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Elizabeth Walker, 634 East Angela, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />block party, on Saturday, August 23, 1997, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., on St. Louis Boulevard
<br />from East Angela to Peashway. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Robert Lechtanski, Nehimiah Project; 52600 Olive Road, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the
<br />above referred to block party, on Saturday, August 30, 1997, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded.by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT HISTORIC DISTRICT YARD SALE
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Paul Hayden, 914 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />yard sale, on Saturday, September 13, 1997, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., on LaPorte from West
<br />Washington to West Colfax. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Melissa DeClercq, 130 North Hawthorne, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to block party, on Saturday, August 23, 1997, from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., on Hawthorne from
<br />Colfax to Washington. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried,
<br />the recommendation was approved. ,
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in' reference to a request as Submitted
<br />by Mr. Michael Guzik, 128 South Hawthorne, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to block party, on Saturday, August 23, 1997, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., on Hawthorne from
<br />Jefferson to Washington. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
