1 <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 28, 1999 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following traffic <br />control devices were approved: <br />New Installation <br />Handicap Sign <br />419 West Madison <br />New Installation <br />Handicap Sign <br />1401 Linden <br />New Installation <br />Handicap Sign <br />2125 South Michigan <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following Certificate <br />of Insurance was accepted for filing: <br />Majority Builders, Inc. <br />62900 U.S. 31 South <br />South Bend, Indiana 46614 <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. M. Catherine Roemer, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $1,664,573.45 and <br />recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern <br />Indiana, submitted lists containing claims in the amount of $258,467.30 and recommended approval. <br />Further, Mr. Ken Szulczyk, St. Joseph County Housing Consortium, submitted claims and <br />recommended approval. Ms. Roemer made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as <br />submitted be filed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, <br />seconded by Mr. Powell and carried, the meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m. <br />ATTEST* <br />Matthew L.
