REGULAR MEETING MAY 8, 2000 WHEREAS, the use of said property for such purposes will be beneficial to the community, and the City is willing to transfer said property to HABITAT for the aforementioned purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: 1) The City shall transfer to HABITAT one (1) parcel of real property more particularly described as follows: Lot 67 Arnold's Second Addition. Key No. 18-2023-0681 2) Such transfer shall be accomplished by Quit -Claim Deed, executed by the Mayor of the City of South Bend and attested to by the South Bend City Clerk. 3) Such transfer shall be made by the City to HABITAT in an "as is" condition with no warranties, indemnities or representations made relative to said real property. Jacob, Clerk ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 68-2000 - APPROVING AN ORDINANCE TO EXTEND AND PROVIDE UTILITY SERVICES TO AN AREA WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL CITY LIMITS LOCATED ON REASOR STREET CENTRE TOWNSHIP SOUTH BEND INDIANA Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 68-2000 WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Common Council of the City of South Bend an ordinance to extend and provide utility service to an area within the municipal city limits known as Lots 11 through 23 of Hartman Terrace subdivision, located on Reasor Street, Centre Township, South Bend, Indiana; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now desires to approve and recommends the Common Council's adoption of said ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That it is in the best interest of the City of South Bend that the Department of Public Works be authorized to extend and construct water main lines and sewer mainlines to the following areas within the corporate limits of the City of South Bend: A parcel of land in the East '/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Centre Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as: Lots 11 through 23 of Hartman Terrace subdivision having the following key numbers: Key Numbers Lot Numbers 23-1035-1775 N1/2 11 & 12 1
