Michigan Date: March 3, 2009 For your consideration today is a proposal from Architecture Design Group (ADG) to extend its design and construction coordination services through the completion of the American Trust facade restoration project. The original basis of compensation, approved by the Commission on July 20, 2006, was 11 % of the cost of construction, not to exceed $70,000. The extension of the contract commits additional hourly compensation not to exceed $7,000 to see us through the final two months of the construction phase. Our original terms contemplated only 12 months of engagement with ADG; however the National Park Service review of plans that was required for the Rehabilitation Tax Credits lengthened the pedevelopment phase considerably, and was atime-intensive portion of the project for ADG. To their credit, the application was ultimately 100% successful, and once underway, ADG and Majority Builders have kept this project moving as expediently as they could, with superior attention to construction detail and under budget. You will be extremely proud of the end result, and of the Commission's important role in this project.
