Animal Control Commission <br />Commission Members Present: <br />Citizen Members Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Agenda: <br />June 9t". 2015 5:33 p.m. <br />All members present <br />Matt Harmon, Todd Howard, Stephanie Steele <br />Hearing <br />Ernest calls meeting to order, explains the way the hearing will go. <br />Case 1: Oberlin, 132 Victoria St. <br />5 -38 a, 5 -43 b <br />1st witness: Todd Howard, assistant shelter manager, 1 % years <br />-10 -15 calls on pit bull Terrior <br />** *5:40 p.m. Mr. Oberlin curses and exits the hearing * ** <br />- Posted AWA within 4 -years <br />- 2/7/15 responded to aggressive dog scene, was charged by dog, repeatedly tried <br />attacking, Todd had to resort to getting into his vehicle, the dog continued to attack the <br />vehicle until it finally retreated. Todd was able to then get the dog with a stick. <br />- aware of 2 other incidences with 2 other officers <br />-dog had to be sedated (not harmed) <br />- the animal is said to escape through a window in the house <br />- recommending labeling dog potentially dangerous and habitual animal offender <br />- this dog is in the top 5 most aggressive dogs Todd has ever dealt with <br />*Old animal Ch. 5: *- what did the chapter say regarding habitual animal offender? <br />Evidence Closed <br />Case 2: Taylor, 620 Howard St. <br />Nerlene fails to appear. <br />1st witness: Officer Kolbie Singleton, SBACC Officer, 10 months <br />-Been to property multiple times <br />
