-Many calls from the police and public <br />- Public calls are 50% regarding running at large <br />-Not violent <br />- Issued multiple citations & alerts <br />-6 citations <br />-7 warnings <br />-He talked to Nerlene Taylor many times and she didn't seem to understand what the <br />problem was. She is around 40 years old. <br />-The most "solid response" he ever received from Nerlene was "I'll pray for the dog." <br />-He goes over and thoroughly explains why she is getting warnings and citations <br />- Nerlene lets the dog out of his kennel so he can go to the bathroom and "go on a walk ". <br />-Dog is about 5 years old <br />-Dog has been impounded 3 x's <br />- Violations after Aug. 2014 <br />Attorney, Stephanie Steele, Closing: <br />5 -43 <br />SBACC is requesting the animal be deemed potentially dangerous <br />Limit, revoke, or prohibit ownership for 5+ years <br />Sweet dog, just had terrible living conditions <br />Hearing adjourned at 6:30 p.m. <br />Commission Deliberation: <br />Case 1: Oberlin, <br />Effective Immediately: <br />-Check on former ordinance <br />- declared potentially dangerous <br />- rights to animal were waived because Mr. Oberlin left the hearing, per 5 -38 (a) 6. <br />
