• <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~~ <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS FOR ADDITIONAL <br />CONSTRUCTION WORK AND THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL <br />EQUIPMENT FOR THE ST. JOSEPH/WAYNE PARKING FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") <br />on the 17th day of June, 1988 approved and executed a lease dated as <br />of June 1, 1988 between the Authority, as Lessor, and the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), as Lessee (the "Lease") <br />for. the rental of certain real estate described in Exhibit "A" of the <br />Lease and a parking garage facility (the "Garage") to be erected <br />thereon by the Authority or its agent according to plans and <br />specifications prepared for the Authority by C. W. A. Walker, Inc., <br />1 the real estate described in said Exhibit "A" and the Garage being <br />collectively referred to hereafter as the "St. Joseph/Wayne Parking <br />Facility"; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 29th day of July, 1988, the Authority and the <br />Commission approved and executed an Addendum to Lease which reduced <br />the amount of the annual rental payment as provided for in the Lease <br />to Four Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Dollars ($463,000) per year (the <br />Lease and Addendum to Lease shall be referred to collectively <br />hereafter as the Lease as amended); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority, on the 17th day of June, 1988, approved <br />-1- <br />
