<br />Deferred hearing had ON assessment roll and final estimate for
<br />Grade, curb and walk on, Chapin Street from Indiana Avenue to Oliver Street,
<br />under Improvomenta;Resolution No. 745..
<br />On a -:count of report of the City En ixeer on condition of street,
<br />the Board ordered that the hearin on this roll be old u u.nt11 May-4th..1991
<br />at-7:15 P.M. at which time contractor will have had time to remedylairteets.
<br />Derred he ing had on asse sment roll and final estimate for
<br />Grade, curb and warton Cat pa Avenue from Indiana Avenue to Oliver Street,
<br />under Improvement Resolution No, 746, In the City Of South,Bendch Indiana.
<br />- I the above matter no remonstrators appeared and�no written
<br />remonstrance was iled, the Board therefore find that the property assessed in said
<br />roll filed _December 21st., 1921 is beaefitted in the amount of assessments as
<br />shown on,said rolls, and the Board further find that'the assessment roll filed
<br />December 21st., 1921 and the final estimate allowed December 21st.9192I should be
<br />and the same are hereb in all things, ratified confirmed and approve
<br />The Board ordered.the L ty Controll"dr notified to withhold the sum -of 1150.00
<br />from monies due Contractor until such time defective walk and curb are replaced.

<br />resolution No. 806. IN the City,of South Bend, Indiana.,
<br />In the above matter no further remonstrance was made, and the
<br />Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed December 21st.
<br />1921 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said -roll,, and the
<br />Board further find that the assessment roll filed December 21st., 1921 and' -the
<br />final estimate Allowed December 21st., 1921 dhould be and the same are hereby in al
<br />all things ratified confirmed and approved. °

<br />Grade, curb and walk on Main Street from Ewing Avenue to South line of Woodside
<br />Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 440. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no further remonstrance was filed and the
<br />Board therefore find that the propety assessed in assessment roll filed December
<br />21st.9 1920 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll, J
<br />and the Mal further find th4t the assessment ro1L filed December 21st., 19 0
<br />and the na estimate allowed December ?dlst , 1920 s]4ould be and the same are
<br />hereby in all things, ratified, confirme and approve

<br />ment Resolution No, fn the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />The Board deferred all action, on said assessment roll until
<br />Wednesday Debruary 2nd., 1921 at 7:15 P.M.

<br />as Agents. Same placed on file as no other property oNers had signed.
<br />Matter of opening of Council Room for City Court Purposes discussed
<br />and H. F.-Rostiser stated, that after holding a conference with the Mayor, and he
<br />said he would leave this matter to the Board after lookin over the condition of
<br />the City court room. The Board instructed the Clerk of the Board to notify
<br />`Johnson not to Opel up the Council room for court purposes, and that they would
<br />prohibit the use of .the Council room for same, and that the order of -Tuesday A. M,
<br />stood, and that if he Johnson would open spid Couacilroom, he would be fired
<br />(this last remark made by John F. De Haven);
