While the roadway was designed to minimize
impacts to AEP and other utilities, there still remained several points of intersect with both the transmission and the
distribution network. For those service points in easements, the party causing the conflict is required to pay relocation
and where no easement exists, AEP covers the expense.
Much conversation has occurred with AEP concerning the expediting of this work and relocation, and with the approval
of this agreement and the commitment of funding of $108,337, AEP will begin the work so that they can be out of the
way and completed by the time the project is under construction later this summer.
Staff requests approval of the Relocation Agreement with American Electric Power.
What We Do Today Makes A Difference!
