Angela Blvd. South Bend, IN 46697 Re: Ignition Park -Data Realty Facade Design South Bend, IN Dear Geri: It is a pleasure for BSA LifeStructures to submit a proposal for the architectural and engineering design services required to develop the fagade of the new Data Realty building. We will further study the preferred design option (a view of which is attached to the proposal), work with a contractor to develop pricing for the option, and then to fully design and engineer construction documents for the fagade which will be part of a fagade grant paid for by the City of South Bend. Our services specifically will include: Architectural Design — of and relating to the fagade only. Civil Design — related to the rain garden basin. Structural Design — as required to support the new fagade. MEP Design — for plumbing and lighting design related to the facade. For the purposes of this proposal, fagade is defined as the metal panel form that shields portions of the existing fagade, becomes a canopy structure at the main entrance and that makes up the screen wall around the roof mounted mechanical equipment. Included in the fagade is the design of the curtainwall around the office portion of the building and the sun shading devices required to screen out the low western sun. For the fagade design, BSA LifeStructures would propose the following fee: Full service Design to the extent outlined above $67,000 Signage Design (on the building fagade only) $ 5,000 Reimbursable Allowance (travel and other standard reimbursables)* $ 5,000 Total Fee (maximum) $77,500 Veimbursables will be billed as part of the base fee up to the $5,000 maximum.
