Angela Blvd. <br />South Bend, IN 46697 <br />Re: Ignition Park -Data Realty Facade Design <br />South Bend, IN <br />Dear Geri: <br />It is a pleasure for BSA LifeStructures to submit a proposal for the architectural and engineering <br />design services required to develop the fagade of the new Data Realty building. We will further <br />study the preferred design option (a view of which is attached to the proposal), work with a <br />contractor to develop pricing for the option, and then to fully design and engineer construction <br />documents for the fagade which will be part of a fagade grant paid for by the City of South Bend. <br />Our services specifically will include: <br />Architectural Design — of and relating to the fagade only. <br />Civil Design — related to the rain garden basin. <br />Structural Design — as required to support the new fagade. <br />MEP Design — for plumbing and lighting design related to the facade. <br />For the purposes of this proposal, fagade is defined as the metal panel form that shields portions <br />of the existing fagade, becomes a canopy structure at the main entrance and that makes up the <br />screen wall around the roof mounted mechanical equipment. Included in the fagade is the design <br />of the curtainwall around the office portion of the building and the sun shading devices required to <br />screen out the low western sun. <br />For the fagade design, BSA LifeStructures would propose the following fee: <br />Full service Design to the extent outlined above $67,000 <br />Signage Design (on the building fagade only) $ 5,000 <br />Reimbursable Allowance (travel and other standard reimbursables)* $ 5,000 <br />Total Fee (maximum) $77,500 <br />Veimbursables will be billed as part of the base fee up to the $5,000 maximum. <br />
