6 A U ) <br />• r a n • u m spUTg 8 <br />Community & Economic Development <br />1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana 46601 -1830 Phone 574/235 -9371 Fax 574/235 -9021 <br />To: Redevelopment Commission <br />From: Bill Schalliol, Economic Development Planner <br />Subject: Professional Service Proposal - Ziolkowski Construction, Inc. <br />Richey's Building Painting ,Project <br />Date: April 8, 2011 <br />Attached to this memorandum is a Professional Services Proposal from Ziolkowski Construction, <br />Inc., to prepare and paint the exterior of the former Richey's Radiator building which is located at the <br />southeast corner of Western and William. The building was acquired by the Commission and is <br />presently being used for storage related to Coveleski Stadium and grounds. It is planned that the <br />building will be used for permanent facility storage and the exterior painting project, and site <br />improvements related to the larger adjacent parking area, will incorporate the Richey's building into <br />the Coveleski Park campus. <br />The proposal is in the amount of $12,698.00 and staff requests a not -to- exceed amount of <br />$15,000.00 to cover unforeseen expenses related to painting the structure. <br />Staff requests favorable Commission approval of this proposal. <br />What We Do Today Makes A Difference! <br />
