June 9, 2010 <br />City of South Bend <br />Department of Community & <br />Economic Development <br />227 West Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1200S <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Attention: Mr. David Relos <br />RE: PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR FORMER AIRGAS SITE, <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />Dear David: <br />Thank you for the opportunity to present our proposal for surveying for the above referenced project. <br />We have appreciated being able to be of service to you in the past and hope that we can assist you <br />with this project. <br />We have reviewed the documentation and files you provided to us and offer the following proposal. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES (BOUNDARY SURVEY SERVICES) <br />• All research, calculations, drafting and field surveys to complete a Certificate of Survey <br />performed in accordance with Title 865, Article 1, Chapter 12 of the Indiana Administrative <br />Code. <br />• Placing monumentation as required at corners of the property. <br />• Locate visible existing improvements and show relationship with boundary lines of the subject <br />tract. <br />The performance of the above noted items may require the following research at County offices: <br />• Acquiring subdivision plats, previously recorded surveys, and right-of-way information. <br />• Locating and reviewing adjoining property owners' deeds to identify deeded gaps or overlaps <br />or obvious discrepancies with adjoining deeded descriptions. <br />WIGHTMA~TPETRIE <br />SURVEYING ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENTAL.
