REGULAR MEETING <br />November 9, 1970 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Council <br />Chambers in the County -City Building on Monday, November 9, 1970 at 8:08 p.m., with all members <br />present. The meeting was called to order by Council President Robert O. Laven, The invocation <br />was given by Reverend Jack O. Burrell, Calvary Baptist Church, 1002 Blaine Avenue, South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, <br />Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer and Zielinski. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />RESOLVE INTO COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />Council President Laven entertained a motion to resolve the Council into the Committee of the <br />Whole on the state of the City to consider the items listed on the agenda for the consideration <br />of the Committee of the Whole. Councilman Allen so moved and Councilman Zielinski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. Time: 8:11 p.m. <br />
