Commission asks for proof of certified mail? <br />-no, other than the testimony officer singleton gives <br />Steele calls officer Singleton to the stand. <br />Officer Singleton is sworn in under oath: <br />Kolbie Singleton, Animal Control Officer, 2 years <br />-Had multiple contacts with miss Kendall regarding ordinance violations <br />- Kendall's address is: 2101 W. Hamilton St. <br />-May 11 tn_ 1 St interaction was a follow up to another officer that had been dealing with miss <br />Kendall <br />- Officer Singleton looked her up on Pet Point and saw the pet was not registered & issued a <br />`failure to register pet citation' <br />Steele: Submits evidence #1 -8 <br />-June 16th, 2015 <br />-Aug. 4th, 2015 <br />-Aug 25th, 2015 <br />Officer Singleton: Goes over various citations, dates, warnings, and contacts <br />- verifies the dog is a rotwiler mix <br />-Oct. 13th, 2015- got a license but no compliance with other ordinance violations that were <br />previously cited: no food, water, shelter, excessive excrement, improper tethering, etc. <br />The last time Officer Singleton saw miss Kendall, she didn't have much to say besides that she <br />couldn't afford to do that things needed. <br />Steele: Submits evidence 18 -20 <br />Officer Singleton: <br />-1 have lots of pictures showing trash and the dog behaving very cowardly. The dog is not <br />aggressive & no complaints on that. <br />-Given 8 citations on 5 separate occasions <br />-29th of April posted hearing notice <br />-Drove by on May 3rd and saw no notices and did not see the dogs <br />Final Statement: <br />She had multiple opportunities to correct these issues and she did not even try. <br />
