-Matt: if it's an animal welfare issue I have mixed emotions on the police handling that. In our <br />meeting with the police we can discuss our perspective as SBACC, what is your perspective as <br />police. <br />-Matt: We aren't full service after hours so we are restricted and must prioritize our calls. Getting <br />priorities in stone is key and educating the public on what we can and can't do. <br />- Becky: One of the problems is that sometimes when we have criminal issues come up in animal <br />control they are not deemed a priority, and certain cases have slipped out of our hands to <br />prosecute because of improper follow up or enforcement. <br />-Matt: chain of command issue but it's all something that can be worked on <br />Some discussion of going after the prosecutors and whether the police would be on board with <br />that. Need paperwork to back up their cases that aren't being pursued. <br />Matt requests that Stephanie Steele be involved in the meeting between SBACC and Police. <br />Follow UP: <br />Becky asks Emy about the rummage sale: Date is tentatively planned for a Thurs.
