South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting -August 26, 2009 <br />The Commission's original purchase <br />agreement with Transpo contained our taking <br />responsibility for environmental problems. <br />This document adds specific indemnification <br />language. <br />Mr. Hardy noted that this document pulls out <br />the indemnification language from the <br />purchase agreement so that Transpo doesn't <br />have to keep pointing out to the FTA that it is <br />in there. Here's a stand alone agreement <br />specific to indemnification. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Agreement <br />Regarding Real Estate (Transpo <br />Operations/Administration Maintenance <br />Facility) <br />E. West Washington-Chapin Development Area <br />There was no business in the West Washington- <br />Chapin Development Area. <br />F. South Side Development Area <br />There was no business in the South Side <br />Development Area. <br />G. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />(1) Resolution No. 2598 amending the <br />Northeast Neighborhood Development <br />Area Development Plan. <br />Mr. Vitton noted that Resolution No. 2598 <br />incorporates the Northeast Neighborhood <br />Design Guidelines into the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Plan. The <br />guidelines are recommendations.
