<br />APPROVE 'THE REJECTION OF BID —2016 PARKING GARAGE IMPROVEMENTS
<br />PROJECT NO. 115-143 (PARKING GARAGE FUND)
<br />Mr. Richard Estes, Engineering, advised the Board that on April 12, 2016, a sole bid was received
<br />and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing the bid, Mr. Estes recommended that
<br />the Board reject the bid due to it being over the amount budgeted for the project. Therefore, Ms.
<br />Ma, adik made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be rejected as outlined
<br />above. Ms. Doran seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER. NO. 1 — CENTRAL SERVICES ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT NO. 115-035 (CENTRAL SERVICES CAPITAL)
<br />Mr. Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on behalf of
<br />'_Northern Indiana Roofing & Sheet., 23495 Edison Road, South Bend, Indiana 46628, indicating
<br />the term of the contract be increased by twelve (12) days for a new contract completion date of May
<br />10, 2016. Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. Doran and carried, the Change
<br />Order was approved.
<br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 — IGNITION PARK INFRASTRUCTURE PIIASE IC
<br />DIVISION B —PROJECT NO 114-063A (RWDA TIIF
<br />Mc Gilot advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 4 on behalf of
<br />Majority Builders, Inc.; 62900 US 31 South, South Bend Indiana 46614, indicating the Contract
<br />amount be increased by $31,840.00 for a new contract sum, including this Change Order; in the
<br />amount of $1,010,472.87. Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik; seconded by Ms. Dorau and
<br />carried, the Change Order was approved.
