It was noted the bids of Walsh & Kelly and Rieth Riley contained errors in the mathematics. Mr. Rob Nichols, Engineering, recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Walsh & Kelly, Inc., in the amount of $175,105.00, which is the Base Bid and Alternate A. Mr. Nichols noted the budget for this project is $180,000.00. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried.
