<br />XI.Comments by the Development Director <br /> <br /> <br />1. <br />Mr. Payton reported that he participated in an exhibition with the Convention and Visitors <br />Bureau on the grid iron at the Hall of Fame. They highlighted Park’s facilities and <br /> <br />programs and also were interviewed by two television stations. <br /> <br />2. <br />Mr. Jeff Cossey, one of O’Brien’s custodians was awarded the first hospitality award by <br /> <br />the Convention and Visitors Bureau at a recent luncheon. <br /> <br />3. <br />Architectural renderings of the new Potawatomi Park Outdoor Performing Arts Center <br /> <br />will be displayed in the windows at the Morris Performing Arts Center. <br /> <br />4. <br />Mr. Payton met with Mr. John Affleck-Graves, vice president of finance at Notre Dame, <br />regarding the Parks Foundation Board. Mr. Affleck-Graves felt Notre Dame should be <br /> <br />involved with the board. <br /> <br />5.We have partnered with the Silver Hawks to put our logo and website on 166,000 <br />schedules they distribute in the community. We will also have flyers that will be <br />distributed at games.
