South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting –July 14, 2009 <br /> <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS (CONT.) <br /> <br />Ms. Jones noted that prior to the meeting she asked Mr. <br />Meteiver if there was an example of an occasion where <br />the Commission transferred property to a UEA or CDC. <br />Mr. Meteiver was not aware of any such situation. Mr. <br />Inks said that the only CDC that the Commission is <br />likely to transfer or sell property to is South Bend <br />Heritage Foundation. If it has not done so previously, <br />the Commission does intend to transfer the Natatorium <br />to South Bend Heritage Foundation. <br /> <br />Ms. Jones noted that Mr. Tillman is not in attendance at <br />this meeting. She asked that legal counsel send Mr. <br />Tillman a copy of Mr. Meteiver’s findings. <br /> <br /> <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Ms. Jones noted that this meeting was rescheduled from <br />the Redevelopment Commission meeting scheduled <br />July 10, 2009. There was not a quorum present on <br />July 10. Members of the public who attended on <br />July 10 were instructed to leave contact information so <br />they could be notified of the date and time of the <br />rescheduled meeting. Three members of the public did <br />so and were contacted by telephone or e-mail as <br />requested. Therefore the Public Hearing scheduled for <br />July 10 will be held at this meeting without additional <br />notice. <br /> <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing <br /> <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2587 <br />confirming a resolution amending the <br />Development Plan for the West <br />Washington-Chapin Development Area <br />and adding one or more parcels to the List <br />of Parcels to be Acquired.
