Airport Economic Development Area <br />(3) continued... <br />property will be cleared and sold to Transpo. <br />The remainder of the property will be cleared <br />and used for Ignition Park. <br />As part of the negotiations with Transpo, the <br />city is working to provide a clean and cleared <br />development site by June 1, 2009. The <br />Ziolkowski Painting Co. at 1319 S. Lafayette <br />is needed to provide that site. The property <br />consists of a single story building and <br />adjacent storage yard. The Ziolkowski <br />Construction Co. on Sample Sheet consists <br />of three buildings on 3.2 acres will support <br />the longer term development of Ignition <br />Park. Acquisition of these two sites will <br />allow Ziolkowski to relocate to one location. <br />They are cui7•ently considering the former <br />PEI Genesis building on Bendix Drive <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution No. 2581 <br />sets the offering price for the Ziolkowski <br />properties at $788,175, the average of two <br />independent appraisers. Staff recommends <br />approval. <br />Ms. King made a motion to approve <br />Resolution No. 2581 related to acquisition of <br />property in the Airpo>-t Economic <br />Development Area. Mr. Alford seconded the <br />motion. The vote was three in favor, with <br />Mr. Varner opposed.
