Wightman Petrie will conduct site visits to familiarize itself generally with the progress and quality of construction and to determine in general if the construction is proceeding in accordance with the design intent and construction documents. 3. On the basis of its observations while at the site, Wightman Petrie will keep the City of South Bend informed of the progress of construction. Wightman Petrie may recommend to the City the rejection of work failing to conform to the contract documents, if the case should arise. 4. Once the project is near completion,. the Consultant team will conduct a site visit with the Owner for the purpose of preparing a "final punch list" report. When the project is complete, we will conduct a final walk through with the Owner and Contractor for project closeout. SUMMARY OF ESTIMATED FEES The services described above shall be provided on a time and expense, not to exceed basis. Task 1 -Schematic Design/Design Development $ 4,250.00 Task 2 -Construction Documents $13,825.00 Task 3 -Bidding and Negotiation $ 1,225.00 Task 4 -Construction Observation 2 200.00 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT FEES $21,ii00.00 EXCLUSIONS: The City of South. Bend shall provide the following information or services as required for performance of the work. Wightman Petrie assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of such information or services and shall not be liable for errors or omissions therein. Should Wightman Petrie be required to provide services in obtaining or coordinating compilation of this information, such services shall be considered as Additional Services. 1. Engineering other than that provided within the Scope of Services. 2. Geotechnical reports. 3. Environmental audits 4. City infrastructure records 5. Coordination with Burkhart Signs for billboard removal. 6. Division 0 and 1 (front end) specifications. Be assured that all of the above services will be delivered in a continuously timely manner with the timetable of the project held foremost.
