County-City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Attn: Bill Schalliol, Economic Development Planner <br />RE: RICHEY'S RADIATOR SHOP RENOVATION <br />Dear Bill: <br />Thank you for contacting Wightman Petrie regarding the. renovation project of the Richey's <br />Radiator Shop and surrounding site located at the southeast corner of Western Avenue and <br />William Street. <br />The existing facility sits adjacent to the corner of Western Avenue and William Street <br />immediately adjacent to the Stanley Coveleski Baseball facility and is part of the site being <br />redeveloped to provide a new main entrance and possible retail/commercial space. <br />to discussions with you and after the site visit on Monday, January 12, 2009 with both the City of <br />South Bend and the Silver Hawks it is our understanding .that the above mentioned- building and <br />site is to be renovated in#o a batting/pitching facility that will include, but not limited to: <br />1. One (1)full-length batting cage lane and one (1) partial batting cage lane. <br />2. One small office and one (1) restroom: <br />3. Recommendations for repair of the existing building structure, interior and exterior, prior <br />to accep#ing new finishes. <br />4. Site design including revisions to both interior and exterior drainage systems, walkways, <br />parking areas, general building access, landscaping and site signage. <br />Wightman Petrie will be the Lead Consultant and will be utilizing the services of Forum <br />Architects, LLC to assist in the renovation of the building. <br />We would assume the following scope of work (with associated fees) would provide you with a <br />complete level of service. <br />WIGHTMA: " ~ETRIE <br />SURVEYING ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENTAL LANDSCAPEARCHiTECTVttE <br />
