NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing <br /> <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2558 <br />appropriating additional tax increment <br />financing revenues from Allocation Area <br />No. 1 Fund for the payment of certain <br />additional obligations and expenses <br />related to the Douglas Road Economic <br />Development Area Allocation Area No. 1. <br /> <br />Mr. Mathia noted that Resolution No. 2558 <br />appropriates the $1,400,000 that the City of <br />Mishawaka is advancing for the Douglas <br />Road widening project. <br /> <br />Mr. Mathia noted that the public hearing file <br />is complete, containing: (1) A copy of <br />Resolution No. 2557 determining to make the <br />appropriation and setting the public hearing <br />on Resolution No. 2558; (2) A copy of the <br />Notice of Hearing; (3) A copy of Resolution <br />No. 2558, the subject of the public hearing; <br />(4) An affidavit from Carol Smith, <br />Advertising Director of the South Bend <br />Tribune, that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in that newspaper on January 23, <br />2009; and (5) An affidavit from Richard <br /> 4 <br /> <br />
