South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting –February 6, 2009

Ampco will be required to submit a budget
by December 1 of each contract year. The
Redevelopment Commission agrees to pay a
monthly management fee of $250 and an
incentive fee of 7% of gross monthly revenue
in excess of $13,000 for Leighton and Main
Street garages, and pay a monthly
management fee of $250 and an incentive fee
of 7% of gross monthly revenue exceeding
$28,500 for the Wayne Street garage. Staff
recommends approval of this agreement.

CPG
Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by
OMMISSION APPROVED THE ARKING ARAGE
MSA
ANAGEMENT ERVICES GREEMENT
Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the
(LG,MSG
EIGHTON ARAGE AIN TREET ARAGE
Commission approved the Parking Garage
WSG)
AND AYNE TREET ARAGE
Management Services Agreement (Leighton
Garage, Main Street Garage and Wayne
Street Garage)

E. Airport Economic Development Area

(1) Rescind Contract with Wightman Petrie
for Phase II Environmental Site
Assessment for Burton property (Waste
Management & 1515-1519 Franklin)

Ms. Kolata noted that in October 2008 the
Commission received a proposal from
Wightman Petrie to do some Phase II work at
Waste Management. They had not yet begun
the work when staff asked Wightman Petrie
for proposals for additional Phase II site
assessments. Wightman Petrie was kind
enough to tell us that it would be less
expensive if we went with a bigger contract
that would include the previously approved
one with the two new ones. Therefore, staff
is requesting the Commission to rescind the
proposal dated October 9, 2008 and
subsequently approved November 7, 2008 in
the amount of $10,220.

10
