11/23/2015 <br /> 69-15 Sec. 1 : Review Fees <br /> • Area Plan Commission (APC) handles all Subdivision, Zoning, and Site Plan requests. <br /> • City of South Bend Engineering reviews these requests and provides their comments <br /> to Area Plan Commission. <br /> • APC receives filing fees. <br /> • Other towns, such as Osceola, Lakeville, New Carlisle,and North Liberty receive <br /> review fees, while the City of South Bend does not. <br /> • The City of South Bend currently receives a filing fee of$100 ($150 if annexing)for <br /> rezoning requests only. <br /> 11/23/2015 r - Z. <br /> 69-15 Sec. 1 : Process <br /> • Processing: Filing and processing the fee. This includes time for the permit <br /> manager and the Controller's Office to: (1) process the application and <br /> provide the applicant with a receipt; (2) document and submit the payment to <br /> Billing; and (3) handle payment. <br /> • Review: Reviewing the request. This includes providing comments, alternate <br /> direction, and re-review. Engineering attends Area Plan Plat Review meetings <br /> as well as meetings with the applicant. An assistant city engineer manages <br /> each application and obtains final approval from the City Engineer and/or <br /> Director of Public Works. <br /> 12 <br />
