Martin, de_rk____'1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the regular meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, <br />with Board President Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Donald Alford, Patrick D. Cottrell, <br />Bruce J. BonDurant, and Jack Reed present. Also present were Police Chief Darryl Boykins, Fire <br />Chief Howard Buchanon, and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13t" Floor, County City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS <br />Board President Juanita Dempsey advised that if there were no objections by members of the Board, <br />the minutes of the Public Agenda Session, Executive Session, and Regular meetings of the Board <br />held on December 23, 2008 and the Special Meeting held on December 30, 2008 would be accepted <br />with the noted corrections. <br />nfflv��� <br />ACCEPT AND FILE LETTER WITHDRAWING MOTION FOR HEARING - WAYNE <br />BOOCHER <br />President Dempsey stated that a letter to the Board from Mr. Spencer Walton, Attorney for Officer <br />Wayne Boocher, withdrawing the motion for a hearing for back-pay, would be accepted and placed <br />on file. <br />
